Smile for the camera

Hi there

Woo hoo! I’m really pleased to have joined the crafty girls design team!

This is my DT inspiration card using a beautiful image from milk coffee. I’ve used serif to create the snapshot background and coloured the image with promarkers. The background papers are from my stash (think they might have been from craftwork cards)

Give Thanks

Hi there

The challenge this week at Whoopsi Daisy is "Give Thanks" so I decided to make a thank you card for my DT design. I think this image of a fairy writing a letter is so cute and I've coloured it with my promarkers to work with the distressed papers. Overall the design, papers and ribbon give a folk art style to the design which is not my usual style at all but I kinda like it! :)

Flower Power

Hi there

The theme over at Whoopsi Daisy is flowers this week and this digi is just perfect for it. The card is designed to be a mini present too as the sentiment has been mounted on a paper pouch which could hold a little bag of seeds :)

The pouch is very easy to make - just a strip of patterned paper folded in half and a further flap folded down two sides. Use the flaps to glue the front and back together and cut away the excess. I've used a small circle punch to cut the semi circle at the top of the pouch.

Vintage

Hi there

Its a monochromatic challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy this week and as I love sepia toned cards that's the colour theme I have used. The image is quite vintage too which helps!

The card has been finished with designer papers, spellbinders gate die and hand made paper roses.

The roses are colour matched using antique linen and vintage photo distress inks
